Programs


Respite Care--provides short-term, in home, relief to families of a child/young person with a physically disabling condition. (Available within the city of Sault Ste. Marie only).

Preschool Services for children with disabilities.--provides integrated half day nursery school or full daycare within community preschool settings. (Abailable within the city of Sault Ste. Marie only).

Medical Clinics--are provided locally with visiting physicians, saving families the expense and inconvenience of travel. Clinics offered currently include:


  1. Paediatric Neurology
  2. Orthopaedic

Seating Clinics--are provided monthly for children and adults who require specialized seating & mobility equipment.

Orthotics Clinics--are provided monthly for children and adults who require specialized prosthetic and orthotic devices or protective helmets.

Augmentative and Alternate Communications Clinics--are non-ADP funded clinics for children who do not use verbal speech as a primary mode of communication.
